The island is the home of the Master Emerald, which keeps the island suspended in the sky. The Emerald is protected by Knuckles the Echidna, an inhabitant of the Island, and only surviving member of an old society that once inhabited the island. In some continuities, there is a selection of Chaos Emeralds on the island itself.

Apotos is known as White Island. It is based on the Cycladic-styled architecture of Greek cities and its windmills are derived from the Greek island of Mykonos. It is located on a peninsula on the same continent as Spagonia. This port town is well known for its oceanside view, as well as its Chocolate Chipped Cream Sundae Supreme.

Radical City is a large nighttime city with casino elements and a large amount of buildings. As such, it has many roads and a highway, but is best known for its Giant Pinball Table. At first the track seems like a factory but slowly shifts gears into a Casino. This is also the place where Tails Doll calls home.

The Egg Carrier (エッグキャリア Eggu Kyaria?) is a fictional flying fortress created by Doctor Eggman in the Sonic the Hedgehog series of video games. It appeared first in the game Sonic Adventure.
